There are two methods to transfer files with FTP. 1. Using Windows Explorer 1. Windows Explorer:Step 1: Open up My Computer
Step 2: ftp://username:password@ftp.AcronicsFTPlocation.com/ <--this is just an example Username Step 3: Paste this link into the address bar and press Enter
Step 4: FR_ACRONICS are files from Acronics going to you, TO_ACRONICS are files you are sending to acronics Step 5: Drag and drop the files into the corresponding folder, or copy and paste 2. FTP ClientFTP Clients vary from software to software, these steps are general instructions that should apply to most FTP Client programs. If you do not have a FTP program, we recommend using Filezilla, which is a free, secure, and fast FTP Client. Step 1: Open up your FTP client and click Add New Site
Step 2: Name the site Acronics Step 3: Under Host, enter in the ftp address (we will email you this, an example: ftp.AcronicsFTPlocation.com)
Step 4: Enter your user name and password
Step 5: Enter in port 21 Step 6: Click connect Step 7: You will see two folders under "Remote site:" FR_ACRONICS are files from Acronics going to you, TO_ACRONICS are files you are sending to acronics Step 8: To connect again the future, click on the arrow next to the Site Manager and click Acronics

| FTPS Instructions |
Our FTPS server uses the latest in SSL/TLS technology. You must have a Client that supports FTPS transfer over SSL/TLS. We recommend using Filezilla, which is a free, secure, and fast FTP Client. Step 1: Open up your Filezilla and click Add New Site
Step 2: Name the site Acronics Step 3: Under Host, enter in the ftp address (we will email you this, an example: ftps.AcronicsFTPlocation.com) Step 4: We will email you the port number to use Step 5: "Servertype:" select "FTPES - FTP over explicit TLS/SSL"
Step 6: Enter in your user name and password Step 7: Click Connect Step 8: A popup will show "Unkown Certificate." Place a checkmark next to "Always Trust Certificate in future sessions." Click OK. Step 9: You will see two folders under "Remote site:" FR_ACRONICS are files from Acronics going to you, TO_ACRONICS are files you are sending to acronics Step 10: To connect again in the future, click on the arrow next to the Site Manager and click Acronics
